Formosa Stern Rail Bracelet

Fran and Shirley were friend of ours who lived about a Formosa 41 ketch. It was made in Asia and featured amazingly intricate wood details. One of the icons of these boats was the wooden rail that surrounded the aft cockpit. We sailed the East Coast Intracoastal Waterway with them for many miles and this piece is inspired by the Formosa 41 Ariel.

Description

When you are drawn to the water, you want to express yourself with jewelry that communicates who you are.

This bracelet is featured in the Jewelry and Metals Survey 2017 publication compiled by the Society of North American Goldsmiths. It was also awarded a prize winner at the Wayne Art Center Craftforms 2018.

It has been elaborately designed and made from light weight 3D printed polyamide (Nylon) and gold plated steel. Perfect for a red carpet event or a wedding, this bracelet is as unique as you are. Although a very large bracelet, when worn around the lower arm, it holds very securely to the body.
